MAZE PARK
Tees Valley Wildlife Trust own and manage Maze Park. This 11 hectare site was formed using spoil from the nearby Teesdale site. It has been planted with some 5,000 trees and pathways and viewing area created.
The site has been naturally re-colonised by flora associated with the lime rich conditions. The site also supports Grayling and Dingy Skipper butterflies both of which are nationally endangered species.
